Once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to ask a question to astronauts on the International Space Station during a live video conference. My question about space debris is selected. Just as I begin speaking—BRAAAP—the barking spider makes itself known in front of hundreds of viewers and actual astronauts.
The astronaut on screen smiled and said, "Well, that's one sound we don't hear up here—gas bubbles behave differently in microgravity." Most educational barking spider moment ever.
